General information about the Lady Crusaders

These are busy times in all of our lives, but you can play a role in the Stepinac community just by joining the Lady Crusaders. Three decades of research have shown that:

Parental participation improves student learning

Family involvement in education is too important to ignore if we really want to create a stronger, safer and more enriching future for our children.

Students perform better and work to a much greater effect when parents/guardians are involved in their education, support their school

and assist with programs and events.

Today’s moms, grandmothers and guardians wear many hats. Times have changed and many of our Lady Crusaders are working parents. We find the time to not only juggle work, home, family, lessons and practices, but to also give our time and effort to events throughout the year that benefit our sons and the Stepinac Community. The reality is, we feel an obligation to make the time to volunteer and to get involved in our sons’ education because we love them and know that soon that they will be on their own.

We invite you to join us by becoming a member of The Lady Crusaders and volunteering to help with or attend our scheduled events! Give as much time as you are able. Volunteers can plan and run events, or can help with stuffing envelopes for a mailing, wrapping gifts for a raffle or making phone calls. Our activities offer a great way to become involved in the school, to meet other students, families, faculty and administration. Best of all, volunteers come away with the feeling that they have made a contribution to the Stepinac Family.

Lady Crusader volunteers are present at all school events and are happy to answer any of your questions. We look forward to another successful year and a chance to grow our parent organization and to work in conjunction with Monsignor Marchitelli and his staff and with the Men’s Crusaders. Please join us.
