These are busy times in all of our lives but you can play a role in the Stepinac community just by joining our organization. Three decades of research have shown that
- Parental participation improves student’s learning
- Family involvement in education is too important to ignore if we really want to create a stronger, safer and more enriching future for our children.
- Students perform better and work to a much greater effort when parents/guardians are involved in their education and in supporting the school by volunteering to support school programs and events.
Our challenge is this……fathers, grandfathers and guardians wear many hats. Times have changed and in most cases, both parents have to work to continue to provide for their children. Yet, we find time and somehow manage to not only juggle work, home, family, sports, music lessons, tutoring, play practice and whatever else comes our way, but we volunteer our time and efforts to such worthy events throughout the year that benefit our sons, their education and the Stepinac family. The reality is that we feel an obligation to make the time to volunteer and to get involved in our son’s education because we love them and know that soon they will be on their own.
So, we invite you to join us by becoming a member of the Stepinac Men’s Crusader Club and volunteering to help with our scheduled events, participating in them, or both. Any volunteer time is greatly appreciated. Our activities offer a great way to become involved in the school and to meet other students, families, faculty and administration. Best of all, you will come away with the feeling of satisfaction and pride that you have made a contribution to the Stepinac community.
Stepinac Men’s Crusader Club “Membership Dues” are $30.00 this year. This fee includes a fashionable Stepinac logo golf shirt as well as other social events.
We are looking forward to another successful season at Stepinac by continuing to grow our parent organization in conjunction with Monsignor Marchitelli, his staff and administration and the Lady Crusader Club. Please join us !
