Homework Due Monday January 5, 2009
1.  Read "A Good Man Is Hard to Find" pages 357 - 368, answer questions in notebook page 368 # 1 - 4.
2.  Read "Critics on Flannery O'Connor" pages 402 - 409. 
3.  Write an analysis of "A Good Man Is Hard to Find"  Use one of the critics from pages 402 - 409, and agree with or argue against a specific point.  Also, use one of the Literary Theories (pages 710 - 743) to critique the short story. Use specific examples, include quotes and page numbers.
*Must be typed, two pages.

Research the definiton of a "tragic hero" (be sure to cite your source).
 Is Death of a Salesman a tragedy and Willy Loman a tragic hero, or is his death merely the pathetic demise of a small man? (Must a tragedy involve a great individual?)
