INSTRUCTIONAL GOALS

At the end of this course, students will:

• Recognize different types of functions
• Analyze different concepts in order to better prepare for Calculus I and Calculus II

Please note: Honors course moves at a faster pace and includes additional enrichment work for students in the selected topics.

To successfully complete this course, you must:

·         Pass the Math BH Regents Exam

Required Materials

To successfully complete this course, you will need to bring to class everyday the following:

·         Textbook

·         Notebook

·         Graph or quad-ruled paper

·         TI-83 plus or TI-84 graphing calculator

Grading is Point Based:

Tests are worth 100 points

Homework is checked everyday. Total grade at the end of each quarter is 100 points. For each assignment not submitted 10 points are deducted from the total homework grade.
