This course will emphasize the procedures and skills needed for the SAT exam.
At the end of this course, you will:
- Be familiar with the SAT test format
- Learn test taking strategies
- Practice taking the exam
- Achieve test taking confidence

- Be a Junior preparing for the SAT in the Spring of 2008.

COURSE SCHEDULE
The course meets three times per cycle as scheduled. Various practice SAT worksheets, and exams will be administered throughout the year.
POLICIES AND PROCEDURES
General Rules:
Students are expected to be:
- Prompt for class
- Prepared for class with pencil, textbook, notebook, folder, and calculator
- A cooperative participant
- Respectful of others
- Diligent and complete assignments in class and at home (no exceptions).

Grading Scale/Rubric:
Credit will be given for each assignment completed on time.
