INSTRUCTIONAL GOALS
This course will cover most aspects of college algebra with trigonometry applications.

- TI 83 graphing calculator
COURSE SCHEDULE
During the first quarter, the following chapters and topics will be covered:
- Chapter R – Fundamental definitions and notations
- Chapter 1 – Linear and Quadratic equations in one variable
- Chapter 2- Linear and Quadratic equations in two variables
POLICIES AND PROCEDURES
General Rules:
Students are expected to
- be on time to class
- bring textbook, notebook and calculator to class
- have homework out and ready to be checked
- take class notes on a daily basis
- demonstrate a respectful classroom attitude
Grading Policies:
In general, each quarter’s grade will be comprised of 4 unit tests and a Homework grade. The Homework grade will be counted as a fifth unit test.
