Making A Gift

We ask that you please consider making a three-year pledge to the Campaign for Stepinac.  You may choose monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, or annual payments to fulfill your pledge.  Pledges enable a donor to contribute a larger gift than would be possible to make in any single tax year.

For more information please contact Paul Thomas, Director of Advancement (914) 946-4800 ext. 245.

Gifts may be made by:

Cash / Checks / Credit Cards/Traded Securities
Suggested procedures for making such gifts are available upon request.

Real Estate and Tangible Personal Property

Gifts of real estate may take the form of an outright gift of the donor's entire interest in the property - or the gift may be subject to a reserved life estate for the donor.

Gifts of Insurance
Gifts of new or existing life insurance policies may be made by naming Archbishop Stepinac as the owner and irrevocable beneficiary of the policies.

Corporate Matching Gifts
Many corporations or organizations will match cash gifts made by individuals who are associated with them.  Usually the personnel office can provide the necessary information and forms.

Charitable Remainder Trusts
Charitable remainder trusts provide a life income to donors or other named individuals with the remainder of the trust fund ultimately passing to the benefit of Archbishop Stepinac.

IRAs                                                                                                              The Pension Protection Act of 2006 allows individuals over the age of 70 and a half to make gifts using funds from their individual retirement account.

BEQUESTS
A bequest in one’s will is another way to contribute to Archbishop Stepinac High School.  A donor can give a specific bequest amount or give a percentage of the total estate.  The donor should seek the services of an attorney or financial adviser for assistance with a bequest.
