Traditionally, Stepinac has encouraged 25 and 50-year class reunions, assisting graduates from those years in planning their events. Some classes have held more frequent reunions, which the school has also helped arrange. Usually, The 50thAnniversary Class holds their Reunion in conjunction with the Homecoming Weekend each Fall.
Typically, on the Friday evening of homecoming weekend, the anniversary class will meet for a casual evening, that we call “Pub Nite”, casual dress and casual fare.
The following day, Saturday, begins with a school tour, followed by the homecoming football game. Prior to kickoff, the returning alumni take part in pre-game ceremonies. A tent is set up at the game for Alumni and their families, with food and refreshments. No invitations are necessary - all Alumni and their families are welcome.
After the game, Mass is offered in The Chapel of the Holy Spirit (Sunday’s obligation), either by former faculty members or by a classmate. The evening culminates with the traditional Reunion Dinner at a local establishment.
Other class-years celebrating an anniversary usually hold their reunions off campus at a restaurant in the White Plains area.
The Office of Institutional Advancement would love to assist all anniversary years planning to hold their reunions. Some of the duties and services provided by our office for reunions are:
- Furnish committee with the most current contact information of class members
- With text provided, send all correspondence to class members
- Letters
- Emails
- Save the date cards
- Flyers
- Receive all donations/payments, keep accurate records, acknowledge receipt of donations, and make all payments associated with the event
- Source off site venues for events
- Source caterers for on site events
- Source venues for lodging to accommodate out of town alumni
- Assist (advancement office personnel) at reunion events
- Provide office space for committee meetings
- Source sites for off campus committee meetings
- Provide party favors at cost
- Key chains
- Coffee mugs
- Pennants
- Shirts
- Etc.

1955, 1960, 1965, 1970, 1975, 1980, 1985, 1990, 1995, 2000 & 2005
