Archbishop Stepinac High School is committed to making quality education affordable and accessible to all. We offer academic scholarships based on merit to incoming freshmen each year. Financial Aid is awarded based on demonstrated financial need.
Academic Scholarships, Class of 2030
Archbishop Stepinac High School awards merit-based Academic scholarships to incoming freshmen each year. The process is competitive and is solely determined on the applicant pool of eligible students.
On Tuesday, January 6th, 2026, Archbishop Stepinac High School will host a scholarship exam for academically qualified students. The exam is scheduled to begin at 4pm and takes approximately one to two hours to complete.

Academic Scholarship Eligibility Requirements
Step 1: Admissions Entrance Exam
1. Register for one (1) of the high school admissions tests. An admissions test is required to be considered for an academic scholarship.

Step 2: Admissions Application
2. Complete an Application of Admissions to the Archbishop Stepinac High School online.
Step 3: Report Cards
3. Submit 7th grade and first quarter 8th grade report cards.
The student’s current principal must sign the form indicating that the student has a current minimum grade average of 90%. The fee to sit for the exam is $30. Payment must be completed online BEFORE a student can sit for the exam on Tuesday, January 6th, 2026.
Students are required to bring their own #2 pencils and a calculator on the day of the exam as we will not be able to provide these items and students are not permitted to share or use any other electronic devices during the exam.
Based on the student’s Scholarship Exam score, Admissions exam results and report card, Archbishop Stepinac High School will offer merit-based academic scholarships. Stepinac will not share any exam scores or ranks with applicants or families. Scholarships are communicated with admissions decisions via email and hard copy letter on January 21, 2026. Amounts range from full scholarships to academic awards. Scholarship amounts do not increase year to year. Students must maintain a B cumulative average in order to maintain their scholarship.
The deadline to accept an Academic Scholarship is February 6, 2026.
Financial Aid
Financial Aid is a form of tuition assistance awarded to eligible families who
demonstrate the greatest need for financial assistance based on the information
submitted and verified on their Blackbaud Financial Aid Management application. We only consider completed and verified applications.
Archbishop Stepinac High School partners with Blackbaud Financial Aid Management to collect all pertinent information needed to determine the most qualified candidates for a Financial Aid award. For your convenience, the Blackbaud Financial Aid Management Parent Enrollment instructions are below, which outlines all of the documents required for your application to be complete.
Due to limited funding resources, only applications with a status of verified will be forwarded to the school for final evaluation. We advise all parents to be diligent in monitoring your Blackbaud Financial Aid Management account, to ensure that your application is progressing to the next phase in a timely manner. Please do not contact the school before contacting Blackbaud Financial Aid Management.

Incoming Freshmen and Transferring Families:
The enrollment period for Class of 2030 students to apply for Financial Aid award is October 1, 2025 – January 5, 2026.
- Thoroughly read through the Blackbaud Financial Aid Management enrollment instructions attached below to fully understand what is required of you to successfully complete your application.
- Financial aid resources are limited and early submission will be taken into account.
- All applications completed and verified by the above deadline (January 5, 2026) will receive a decision by January 21, 2026.
- All decisions will be sent to the email provided on your Blackbaud Financial Aid Management application.
- Before calling the school, please contact Blackbaud Financial Aid Management to make sure your application has been completed and verified no later than January 5, 2026.
- It takes Blackbaud Financial Aid Management a significant amount of time from receiving a completed application to render an account status of verified. Please plan accordingly and follow up with Blackbaud regularly.
- The school WILL NOT review applications or accept pending documentation directly from a parent/guardian.
- Recipients of Financial Aid award must reapply each year.

Current Families:
The enrollment period for current students to apply for Financial Aid is April 16, 2026 – June 1, 2026.
- Thoroughly read through the Blackbaud Financial Aid Management enrollment instructions attached below, to fully understand what is required of you to successfully complete your application.
- Only applications completed and verified by the above deadline will receive a decision by June 30, 2026.
- All decisions will be sent to the email provided on your Blackbaud Financial Aid Management application.
- Before calling the school, please contact Blackbaud Financial Aid Management to make sure your application has been completed and verified no later than June 1, 2026.
- It takes Blackbaud Financial Aid Management a significant amount of time from receiving a completed application to render an account status of verified. Please plan accordingly.
- Archbishop Stepinac High School will not consider Financial Aid applicants with an open tuition account balance on their account.
- If a renewal application is not completed and verified by the above deadline (June 1, 2026), we will not be able to apply Financial Aid for the 2026-2027 school year.
- Please note Blackbaud Financial Aid Management will only accept documents uploaded into an application via the Document Upload Feature. Blackbaud Financial Aid Management is no longer accepting mailed documents.
