Literary Journal (The Phoenix)

Moderator: Mr. Timothy Kehayas

Contact: tkehayas@stepinac.org

Description: The Phoenix, Archbishop Stepinac High School's literary magazine, serves as a publication to showcase the work of writers and artists at Stepinac High School. The literary magazine features the school's strongest works of creativity in a print and online literary magazine. As a club, members work to review, copy-edit, and publish distinguished works into our online and printed publications. Our main goal, born out of our love of writing and art, is to display the talents of students who are not as often represented in our school's community.

Submission Guidelines: Poetry, short stories, song lyrics, visual artwork, and other forms of media that demonstrate creativity and mastery of skill can be submitted to tkehayas@stepinac.org. The name of the creator should be shown on the work unless he/she prefers to remain anonymous. Creators may submit up to five works per month. Once submitted, the student staff of the literary magazine will review all submitted works and determine which works will be published. Works that are chosen will be reviewed and edited for grammatical errors prior to publication in the literary magazine.

Copies of the Phoenix ,magazine spread across the table.
